Xo Shaina Yang Lo, 51

At the age of 51, Xo Shaina Yang Lo went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. For five years, she fought a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 3, 1972, she was the daughter of Gnia Cha Yang and Ka Ying Thao. She shared over 32 years of marriage, memories, and love, with Keng Lo of Leola.

As an accountant, she dedicated over 20 years with Fulton Bank, and an additional 10 years with Santander. Many will remember Shaina as the owner and operator of Banana Blossom Food Truck, which she successfully managed and maintained for 10 years. She was also a long-time volunteer with Blessings of Hope.

Being in the fresh air and exercising brought Shaina great joy. She was fond of playing badminton, frisbee, biking, hiking, camping, playing tennis and ping-pong, or traveling the world with her family. With her battle with cancer, she showed great strength of resilience. That strength she had came from her faithful obedience to the Lord. The greatest lesson she left with her children is love unconditionally.

Her spirit will live on in her husband Keng; daughters, Salyiena Lo, Melaudy Lo, Jasmeng Lo, and Hope Lo; sons, Tommy Lo, and Ben Lo. She was preceded in passing by her father, Gnia Cha Yang, and father-in-law, Cher Bee Lo.

The family will receive guests on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 6 PM – 9 PM, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Funeral Service honoring Shaina will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the funeral home, beginning at 9 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Joy Cemetery, 275 Terrace Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552. Reception will be held at 9 South Hershey Avenue, Leola, PA 17540. Memorial contributions in Shaina’s name may be made to the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.
