Condolences to the Family

Dear Mike, Scotty and Ann
This note of sympthy is from Carol (Kirchner) Vere and it is with deepest regret I heard of your Mother’s passig. I am hoping you remember me, daughter of Ott and Irene. I have so, so many fond memories of Joan…she was truly an extension of our family as we called her Aunt Joan! There are so many events to recall but one of my favorite is baking Xmas cookies every year with my Mom and Joan..”noone” could make sandtarts like the two of them and of course I would be there to put on the toppings..they would bake all day. Also, she made the absolute best cocanut custard pie…it was so yummy! I live in the Boston area and she came with my parents for my husbands 50th birthday party. Up to a few years ago, I wiuld always make it a point to visit her when I was in the area, and then we regretably, lost touch. She was the only person I knew who would put a cross with the initials “JMJ” at the top of her cards or letters. I could go on and on but afraid I may run out of space and yes, Joan was a loving, sweet woman who is most certainly in heaven by the good Lords side. I truly hope you get to read this note but afraid maybe to much time has passed since the funrtal…I hope not!
I remember all of you so very fondly as we grew up together since our parents often got together, especially around the holidays. I hope you and your families are happy and healthy and again, my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother.
With fond regards and hope all your loving memories of Joan will remain with you forever. I do have to say when my Mother, Irene, passed away it was a total shock and your Mom was like a guardian angel to me!
Carol
