George L. Brown, 94

George L. Brown, MD, 94, of 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23^rd. He was the son of the late G. Lance and Elsie Baile Brown.

Dr. Brown was a World War II Veteran, Rotarian, member of Masonic Lodge 43, and instructor at the Temple University School of Medicine. He was in private practice in dermatology from 1952 to 1978 in Abington, PA. During this time he served on the staff of several local hospitals and was Chief of Staff for Dermatology at Abington Memorial Hospital.

He retired to Lancaster in 1978 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.

Dr. Brown is survived by his wife, Sarah Vliet Brown of Brethren Village, a daughter, Louise Brown Graham wife of John H. Graham and a grandson, Michael Lance Graham, all of Landisville.

A Funeral Service will be held at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster on Wednesday, Nov.26, 2008 at 10:00AM. Interment will be private. Friends may pay their respects to the family at Brethren Village from 9-10:00AM. Please omit flowers.
