Tad, I am devastated. Why did you ask God to take you back so soon? If I were able to, I would have gone to see you and tried to give you strength and hope, like what you gave to me when life was tough for me.
Tad, do you remember? Many Americans made fun of me and gave me a hard time for being Asian. Even some of my teachers were racist against me and other Asian students. However, you were never like that. You were a role model to everyone by showing how we should treat each other as friends, as brothers and sisters, no matter the color of your skin or the country you are from.
You really cared for me. All this time I really wanted to meet you, and I am so sad and disappointed to have lost you.
Tad, no matter what anyone says , you are my best friends and always encouraged and supported me. I will never forget the brotherly love that you gave to me and all the other international students.

Dear Erik, Char and family. 
Our hearts go to you Eric,  Charlene  and your family in your hours of pain and inconsolable sadness. To think that such a handsome vibrant young man, had unexpectedly passed away is absolutely incomprehensible.
Receiving this news was a shock and a painful realization that life doesn’t really belong to us. To explain that a young man, leaves this earth  and it is his parent’s job  to see him go, it is exactly contradictory to the way is supposed to happen in life.To bury a son is such a wretched and profound pain that only God knows how would it be resolved. Our heart and soul is absolutely enveloped in your pain and we wish to be there for you in those irreconcilable moments of pain and sorrow.  You are extraordinary people who absolutely do not deserve this unexpected pain and loss of Thad’s  passing, RIP.

I loved being around Tad in Boy Scouts. He made things much more interesting and he was a funny guy. I’m so sorry the family has to go through this loss, but know that he left a mark on this world and the people around him.
