Christine Hatzinikolas, 77

Christine Hatzinikolas, 77, of Lancaster, passed away at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Born in Rhodes, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Anastasios and Eleni (Tsiragaki) Lyristis. She was the wife of the late John P. Hatzinikolas, who died in 2002.

A graduate of Millersville University, Christine earned her degree in business. She worked as a quality inspector for MXL Industries. Christine’s greatest love was spending time, holidays, vacations, and other special occasions with her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her so much joy. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed playing card and board games.

Christine is survived by her children: Vivian Kovack, wife of David; Patrick Hatzinikolas, and Tammy Worry, wife of James, all of Lancaster; and four grandchildren: Johnathan, Ioanni, Kristen “Chrysoula”, and Taso.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM, Friday, December 30, 2022, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10AM to 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
