Clyde J. Hoppert, 64

Clyde J. Hoppert, 64, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.
Born in Johnstown, he was the son of Henry J. Hoppert of Johnstown and the late Edna V. (Miller) Hoppert.
Clyde was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster, and was employed as an injection molding supervisor.
Clyde adored his family and especially enjoyed family vacations to Myrtle Beach. An avid cook, he loved gardening and watching the Steelers and Flyers. He was very involved in his family’s lives, especially his grandchildren’s sporting events. He will be missed by those fortunate to have known him.
He is survived by his daughters: Kelly R. Hart and her husband Shawn of Willow Street and Sheri L. Weichler and her husband Tom of Ephrata; 5 grandchildren: Cortney, Gillian, Liam, Patrick, and Ella; 2 step-grandchildren: Morgan and Katie; and a sister, Sharon Thomas of Johnstown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 12, 2015 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 31 S. Duke St, Lancaster with Rev. Timothy Mentzer officiating. Friends will be received from 6 to 7:30 PM Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, and again one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Entombment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
Flowers are appreciated, or memorial contributions in Clyde’s memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Central PA Chapter, 2405 Park Drive, Ste 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

Well, Clyde, at least u won’t have to suffer from any more kidney stones, know what I mean!? Anyway, I really hope that all of you will be able to find some peace in your lives knowing that ur dad, my cousin, isn’t suffering anymore. I am sure that Clyde is in the hands of our Father now looking down on us with that smile that only he could give.
