Marilyn L. Banack, 72

Marilyn L. Banack, 72, of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. She was the wife of Donald J. Banack, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” B. and B. Marguerite Maharg Roth.

Marilyn was a devoted mother and grandmother, an exceptional homemaker, and enjoyed gardening. She was a 1964 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. She worked at Kissel Hill Elementary School, Glassmeyers, and at the Brickerville Snackette.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Michael T. Banack of Bucks County and David Q. Banack of Lititz; her grandchildren: Gabriel and Hannah; her brother Randy Roth, husband of Kim of Denver, PA. In addition to her nine cousins, extended family and friends, Marilyn will be missed by Lori Verderame.

Services and burial at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private. Please make contributions in Marilyn’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 woundedwarriorproject.org.
