Condolences to the Family

December 20, 2023

Our sincerest condolences to your family for your loss. Such truly fond memories are held of her and we hope that during this difficult time that you may find some comfort in those cherished and special times. She made such a beautiful impact in this world and touched so many.
Mrs. Brenner (as we knew her) was the first person aside from my own mother to be trusted with my daughter Keira as her preschool teacher at Willow Street UCC. I remember that first day vividly as she was so warm and welcoming, understanding and empathetic as a mother herself (and it being my first) to just how nervous I was for my own baby to be left for the morning entrusting in someone I had only met once prior. She had such a comfort about her that it was like dropping my daughter off with family, as Keira also simply adored her immediately, many days not wanting to leave and Mrs. Brenner letting her hang out with her and help clean up after! There are many pictures in albums of them together, as Keira always wanted a picture of her favorite teacher 🙂 We spent our preschool years with Mrs. Brenner (2003-2005) volunteering on field trips, in the classroom, and all of the special events that she had, and I’m so glad to have been able to know her and have her be such a special part of my daughter’s early life and start to school. She made this mom feel so blessed to have such a great person caring for her child as if she was her own.
Thank you for sharing her with our family. We will honor her in her passing, and hope that you hold some comfort in knowing she meant so much to so many, even all these years later.
Our deepest sympathies,
The Fritsch family

My children were all lucky to have Mrs. Brenner as their preschool teacher.  She was kind, gentle, and patient. I have fond memories of her and the wonderful program she ran for little ones. I’m sorry for your loss.

Susan was on our route for Millersville Meals on Wheels. It was always a pleasure to see her. She met me at the door with a smile. I didn’t know that she had been a teacher. So was I. I’ll miss seeing her every Wednesday morning.

Mrs. Brenner was a wonderful preschool teacher at Conestoga United Methodist Church .  She taught both of my boys 6 years apart.  She had a kindness about her that was evident in her teaching.  They both loved her.  I have thought of her fondly many times through the years
