Donald R. Mentzer, 69

Donald R. Mentzer, 69, of Saratoga Road, Lancaster, Pa died June 5, 2007 at Golden Living Center in Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ted and Ella Adams Mentzer. Donald was married to Jennie Agresta  Mentzer for 44 years. Mr. Mentzer was employed by Kunzler & Co Inc. in shipping and receiving for 39 years. After retirement, he worked for Schaad Detective Agency Inc. He served in the Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958.

Surviving besides his wife is a stepson, Nicholas Rohrer of Lancaster, three brothers: Clarence, Thomas and Timothy Mentzer all of Lancaster, and a sister, Shirley Neff of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother Harry Mentzer. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, Pa. on Saturday at 2:00 PM. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00PM. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday at 11:30AM. Arrangement by the Charles F.
