Jamie L. Fryberger, 62
December 06, 2023
Jamie L. Fryberger, 62, of New Providence, left this world on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, to join her family in Heaven. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sara J. (Schroyer) and Joseph J. Finefrock, Sr. Jamie was the beloved wife of Edward Fryberger.
Jamie dedicated her professional life to working hard and serving others. She worked most recently as a cook for Lapp’s Family Restaurant, doing so with love, always. Her commitment to her work was a reflection of her deep love and devotion to providing for her cherished family.
Jamie enjoyed gardening and attended to a wide array of flowers and house plants; we’re still unsure of how she got them the grow so well! She enjoyed playing cards with her loved ones and the occasional trip to the casino to play the slots. In her free time, Jamie enjoyed shopping with friends, especially with her daughter-in-law, Maria, and regular trips to have lunch with her sister, Jodi. She loved the music of Rod Stewart and was never shy to sing along. She absolutely adored her Yorkie, Nico, who will miss her very much.
Jamie’s greatest joy and source of pride was her family. They meant everything to her. She would do whatever had to be done to make sure they were taken care of and never with a second thought. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward, whose strength she leaned on when times got tough, and her devoted son, Chad (Maria), whom she loved more than anything. She is also survived by her sister, Jodi (Dave) of Lititz, and nephews David Shaffer, Jr., and Emmanuel James. Jamie was preceded in death by her siblings: Jeanne James and Joseph J. Finefrock, Jr., as well as her nephew Nathan Taska.
In celebrating Jamie’s life, her family and friends will remember her warm spirit, her dedication to her loved ones, and the many ways she brought joy into the lives of those around her.
